Another important distinction for the High School "Peace and Freedom" Deryneia-Sotiras.
The students of the "Peace and Freedom" Gymnasium-Lyceum of Deryneia-Sotiras won the 1st place in the MATHeatre competition aged 14-18 within the European conference Euromath 2024 in Rome.
The students represented Cyprus in the final phase of the MATHeatre Europe 2024 European Competition after their first victory in the MATHeatre Cyprus 2023-2024 competition.
The "Peace and Freedom" Gymnasium-Lyceum of Deryneia-Sotiras presented in Rome the play "The Testament of Uncle George Planis", by George Darivas, in a theatrical adaptation by the student Kleopas Salamiotis.
Specifically, 8 students aged 14-18 participated in the play.
