March 22 of each year has been established since 2008 by the European Union as a day of politeness on the road. Through this symbolic day, students of TESEK Paralimni accompanied by the Road Safety Officer of Famagusta distributed educational material on road safety to passing drivers and pedestrians in the square of Agios Georgios Paralimni.
An attempt to send different messages from students to society, aiming to improve the behavior of all road users.
It has been established that irritation and aggressive behavior displayed on the roads by drivers increase the chances of causing traffic collisions.
Through this activity of the road courtesy day, the drivers were informed by the students who, as road safety ambassadors, accompanied by the police, sent the appropriate messages with the aim of making drivers aware that they should never react with risky behavior.
