On Friday, February 16, 2018, at 7 pm at the City Hall of Lefkonikos in Nicosia, the Municipality of Lefkonikos in collaboration with the Union of Writers of Cyprus organized a literary evening in which they presented the poem of Vassilis Michailidis "ROMIOS". It was a very beautiful event which was honored by the presence of the award-winning poet Kyriakos Charalambidis.
Also, on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 8 pm, the Refugee Association "To Lefkoniko" Larnaca-Famagusta organized for another year with great success an event for the Sikossians, at his home in Larnaca.
The attendees spent a wonderful evening with traditional dances by the children's dance group of the Association, with songs, traditional delicacies and sweets, and remembered the beautiful years of their town, when it was in its heyday.
