A group of students from the Special School "Apostolos Barnabas" in Liopetri won a cash prize of 5 thousand euros and the 2nd place in last year's competition, while the money was used to buy equipment for the school's physical education room.
An announcement from the school states that "during last school year, the school participated in the Yiannis Christodoulou Foundation competition entitled" Helping Children - Hands up for all ".
It is added that all the children of the School "had the opportunity, in a beautiful spirit of creation and collaboration and with the help and guidance of the teaching staff, to create many constructions, films, songs, puzzles and more. From all these remarkable participations, the construction of Team DG managed to win the 2nd prize, which was five thousand euros ".
According to the announcement, this amount of money was used to purchase equipment for the school's Physical Education room.
Specifically, two bicycles were purchased, two treadmills for walking and running, a rowing machine and two targets - toys.
