A case of attempted murder, with a 34-year-old victim, is being investigated by the Police in the province of Famagusta. To facilitate the investigations, a 24-year-old man was arrested at dawn.
Specifically, around 8.45pm. Yesterday, while 34 years old was on the veranda of her house, in a village in the province of Famagusta, she received two shots from a shotgun.
The 34-year-old was immediately transported to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where after it was found that she had multiple injuries to the back, from bullets from a shotgun, she was kept for treatment.
According to the treating doctors, her health condition is stable, out of danger.
From examinations carried out by the Police, a testimony was secured against a 24-year-old resident of a village in the province of Famagusta. An arrest warrant was issued against him, under which he was arrested and remanded in custody to facilitate investigations.

A case of attempted murder against a 34-year-old woman from Liopetri from her 24-year-old neighbor, is being investigated by the Famagusta TAE.
According to the Police, around 20.45 last night, while a 34-year-old woman from Liopetri was sitting on the veranda of her house with other members of her family, she received two shots from a shotgun in the back.
The woman was transported by her brother to the TAEP of the General Hospital of Famagusta where the doctors on duty found that she had multiple wounds to the back from bullets from a shotgun. Her state of health is judged by the treating physicians as stable and out of danger.
Police secured the testimony of a 24-year-old suspect from Liopetri, who was arrested shortly before 4.00 am today, following a court order.
Police information states that the 24-year-old had an affair with the 34-year-old, which was recently terminated.
The young man is expected to be brought before the District Court of Famagusta in the morning for the issuance of a detention order.
The case is being investigated by the Famagusta Police Department.
