A modest ceremony was held today at the home of the first witness of EOKA Modestos Pantelis in the heroic community of Liopetri who died in the early hours of April 1, 1955 in an operation with Andreas Karyos to cut off electricity in the Famagusta area. This morning, at the house of the hero and in the presence of his wife Apostolos, his son Pantelis raised the proud blue and white flag on the mast in the presence of the members of the band of the Nationalist Associations of Liopetri "I do not forget".
