The Free Province of Famagusta secured a double international honorary distinction for beaches in Protaras and Ayia Napa. TripAdvisor selected Fig Tree Bay in Protaras and Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa among the 25 best beaches in Europe.
According to the Famagusta Tourism Development and Promotion Company, the beach fig tree bay was declared in 17th place and that of Nissi Beach on the 21st. A distinction that has been repeated regularly in recent years, reaching the point of being selected among the best beaches in the world.
