The entry of Ayia Napa and Paralimni garbage trucks into the Kosi unit is suspended.
A written announcement of the Larnaca - Famagusta Household Waste Utilization Council states that the Minister of Agriculture convened a meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 2, regarding the debts of the Municipalities of Ayia Napa and Paralimni.
It is added that "after the invitation of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment for a meeting on Wednesday, October 2, regarding the debts of the Municipalities of Paralimni and Ayia Napa, the Council held an extraordinary meeting today, Monday."
At the meeting, the Council decided to "suspend the entry of garbage trucks coming from the Municipalities of Ayia Napa and Paralimni to the Kosi unit. The Council will re-evaluate the situation after the meeting that will take place at the Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday, October 2. "
