With the participation of dozens of believers and with due ecclesiastical splendor, the Grand Solemn Vespers of Agia Marina was held on the afternoon of Sunday, July 16, 2023, in the outdoor area in front of the chapel of the same name, which is located in the center of Paralimni. The holy chapel is currently being renovated at the expense of devout Christians.
After Vespers, the procession of the Icon of the Saint took place with the participation of the numerous congregation.
The Holy Metropolis, once again publicly expresses its thanks to the Municipality of Paralimni for the generous provision of the seats and other construction site items, the members of the Chapels Committee and the volunteers, who helped in the organization and smooth conduct of the festival of the chapel of Agia Marini.
In our metropolitan region, many parish churches and chapels are dedicated to the name of Agia, most of them in the currently occupied province of Famagusta.
