The Parents' Association of Paralimni High School and the Paralimni School Ephorate, after yesterday's statements of the Minister of Education in Paralimni, had morning consultations with the Minister of Education, Sports, Culture and Youth, Mr. Prodromos Prodromos.
They agreed that the Ministry of Education should proceed immediately with the elaboration of the study, Project Concept Note (PCN) for the construction of the 2nd High School of Paralimni, taking into account all the peculiarities of the area and its inclusion in the planning / planning of the government project. This study is expected, according to a relevant announcement, to be completed within a month.
The School Ephorate of Paralimni has already submitted a study which was made following a suggestion of the previous Minister of Education which proves the need to create a 2nd High School based on existing and future needs.
However, in relation to the issue of reducing the number of students in the school, S.G. agrees with this number, only for the current school year, as he expects that for the next school year the appropriate actions will be taken by the Ministry for the decongestion of our High School due to the reconstruction of the school during the next three years.
The Parents' Association will be on constant alert. Finally, the Parents' Association does not proceed with any mobilization at the beginning of the school year and does not bear any responsibility for any such actions.
