The images captured by the lens lately from Lake Paralimni are unique. The rising water level that accumulates and the existence of beautiful flamingos, creates a spectacle that is recorded daily by the lens of hundreds of our fellow citizens who go to photograph the unique spectacle.
The best places to see flamingos
From the 1st of April in Paralimni, you turn left at Chimaras (Beauty Line) and after the crossroads you can go either left or right and you will reach the corner formed at the junction of Evagoras Papachristoforou and Petros Iliadis.
You can also see them from the Sotiras - Paralimni road opposite the Unicars / Famagusta District Administration.
A very good point of observation is also in the parking lot of the toy store "Super Action", from where you can even go down by car to the bottom (with great care as there is wet ground).
It is also considered an ideal spot on Famagusta Street in Sotira, where the hill on the side of the road is considered ideal for bird watching but also to see the view of the lake and Paralimni.
