The Xenion private school in Paralimni managed to win an important distinction during last night's "Cyprus Education Leaders Awards".
The school was awarded a prize in the category "Link with society" for the planning and implementation of school activities in collaboration with community actors in projects of public benefit.
This is an award which is the culmination of the efforts made by the school since the day of its foundation to contribute to the social and cultural events of the province of Famagusta.
The award was received by a group of school teachers.
Also, during the ceremony, the Assistant Director of Xenion, George Fylaktou, in the capacity of the Vice President of the Association of Private Schools of Cyprus, awarded prizes in the category Cultivation of Environmental Awareness.
The Cyprus Education Leaders Awards
The Cyprus Education Leaders Awards were organized for the first time in our country by Boussias Communications and the DIAS Group. They took place on Thursday night (June 6, 2019) at Lemon Park in Nicosia with presenters Andri Karantoni and Andreas Dimitropoulos.
They were under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture, OELMEK, POED, OLTEK, the Association of Private Schools and the Cyprus Youth Organization. Communication was sponsored by Economy Today magazine.
