A 23-year-old man who was driving under the influence of drugs in Paralimni was taken to the Police Department.
Specifically, according to an announcement by the Police, on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 20:55 on the Paralimni - Agia Napa road in Paralimni, members of the Famagusta Traffic Police stopped a car driven by a 23-year-old for inspection.
During the inspection, suspicions arose that the young man was driving his vehicle under the influence of drugs.
He underwent a preliminary drug test with a positive result.
The driver and his vehicle were then taken to the Paralimni Police Station, where they were sampled for a final drug test.
The Paralimni Police Station is investigating the case.
