The Police arrested a 40-year-old man yesterday, to facilitate investigations regarding an investigated case of burglary, illegal possession of property and malicious damage. The 40-year-old was located inside a restaurant, following information about a possible burglary in the building.
Specifically, around 11.30 am. yesterday, the Police received information about a possible break-in at a restaurant in Paralimni, which is closed due to the winter season.
Members of the Police immediately went to the restaurant in question, where they found the 40-year-old inside the building. A search of a bag in his possession found various electronic devices, alcoholic beverages and tools, for which he also gave no satisfactory explanation as to how they came into his possession.
As a result, the 40-year-old was arrested for an unprovoked crime and taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
