Maria Markou was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia and it is necessary to go to Germany for a bone marrow transplant.
Speaking on SIGMA's show "Front Page", Ms. Markou stated that she is currently being treated at the Nicosia General Hospital where she is completing the first cycle of her chemotherapy and is expected to return home for a short time.
Then, as he said, he will be re-admitted to the Hospital for a month, in order to complete the second cycle of chemotherapy.
Ms. Markou was initially diagnosed with myelofibrosis which later developed into acute myelogenous leukemia.
As she mentioned, she has to go to Germany for a bone marrow transplant from her sister.
She says she is excited by the response of the people.
