The Provincial Celebrations for the National Anniversary of October 28, 1940 culminated in the Municipality of Paralimni with all splendor.
Flags of occupied and free Municipalities and Communities of the Famagusta District, public and private schools, unions, Catechetic Synagogues, scouting bodies and the Army regiment consisting of drafted soldiers of the 1th M/K took part in the parade that took place along the 7st of April Avenue. The presence of the Symphonic Band "Lyre Val d'Is" Dijon of France, which together with the Symphonic Band "Armonia" of the Municipality of Paralimni, played throughout the parade was noteworthy.
