More than 3.000 hunters are currently gathered in Agios Georgios Square in Paralimni in order to provoke their reaction to the Law on Protection and Conservation of Wild Birds and Prey that was passed by the Parliament last July.
The exhaustive fines imposed so far by the Police and the Hunting Service, the restriction on the number of dogs, the bans on the use of cobras and the frequent interventions of foreign activists of the non-governmental organization CABS are just some of the reasons that led to protest rally.
Hunters, dog owners and stuntmen from all over Cyprus are gathered tonight in Paralimni, uniting their voice against the exhausting legislation.
