There does not seem to be anything wrong with the necropsy of the fetus that was found temporarily buried in a cemetery in Paralimni.
In his intervention on the ANT1 show, "Mera Mesimeri", the Mayor of Paralimni, Theodoros Pyrillis, stated that the baby found yesterday was dead that resulted from a miscarriage and was buried more for emotional purposes.
As the Mayor of Paralimni explained, the dead babies that result from complications or termination of pregnancy are buried in the old cemetery of Paralimni, which has been inactive for 30 years.
He went on to say that it is a practice that has been done for years by the clinics but also by the Hospital, as it was considered by the church to be buried in this way.
In fact, Mr. Pyrillis shared his own experience, pointing out that when his wife aborted three five-month-old babies, he took them himself and buried them in the cemetery.
At the same time, he noted that this fact shows that we respect the embryos that failed to see the light of life. At the same time, the Mayor of Paralimni, explained that the man who located the baby was digging out of curiosity when he saw someone burying him in a grave.
It is recalled that yesterday the Police were put on alert shortly after 16:00 in the afternoon for a fetus that was temporarily buried in a cemetery in Paralimni.
According to information, it seems that a citizen who went to the cemetery, found next to a grave a burial bag, in which, according to information, was an embryo.
Immediately at the spot, members of the Police rushed and received several items from the spot. According to information, the authorities, after receiving testimonies, have a complete picture of what happened and the reason why the fetus was buried at the specific point.
