The Municipality of Sotiros and Avtora express their readiness to host within their municipal and community boundaries the monument dedicated to the heroic martyrs of modern Cypriot history Tassos Isaac and Solomos Solomou, for which a decision was made to move from the Deryneia roadblock.
By posting on the personal account he maintains on facebook, the Municipal Councilor Savior Marios Adamou informs that in his capacity as a member of the Municipal Council Sotiras, he will propose to the next Plenary Session of the Municipal Council that the monument, even temporarily, if and if the Memorial Initiative agrees, be hosted at the EOKA 1955-59 Museum Museum in the Municipality Savior.
The Common Leader Avgorou Panagis Michailas contacted the members of the Isaac and Solomos Memorial Initiative, whom he informed about his intention to raise the issue of hosting the monument at a next meeting of the members of the Community Council, within the boundaries of the community of Avgoros. In a post on Facebook, he states that in the coming days a relevant letter will be sent with details about the place where the monument can be installed.
