The Municipality of Paralimni in a statement informs that on December 28 and 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. in the parking area of the Paralimni Town Hall the Mobile Unit for Information and Collection of Hazardous Household Waste will operate, which the public can visit both for information as well as for disposal in the special bins of specific household waste according to the categories below:
Small Electrical and Electronic Devices
Pesticides, Fertilizers and Insecticides
Lubricants and Engine Oils
Cleaning products
Inks, printer toners
Paints, lacquers, paints, solvents, varnishes
Pharmaceutical products
Batteries (A.P.S. Bin)
In a statement, the Municipality of Paralimni writes that it is strictly forbidden to deposit waste outside the mobile unit both during operating hours and during the hours when the unit is closed.
The Project "Separate Collection and Management of Hazardous Waste from Households" is financed by the Norwegian Funds and implemented by the Department of Environment in collaboration with the Development Company of Nicosia (ANEL).
