The first race for the Pancyprian Motocross Championship Neophytos Tsagaras, organized by the Famagusta Motorcycle Club, remained unfinished, as the weather had other plans, as it forced the organizers to stop it shortly before the end of the second hit of the MX1 The other categories did not run a second hit since the track was deemed unsuitable.
The return to the Pancyprian championship of Chrysanthos Charalambous foreshadowed everyone for nice battles in the MX1 category with last year's champion Christos Tsagaras. The first hit started with the champion making one of his well-known good starts and leaving ahead followed by Charalambous. The two of them stayed in these positions until his midfield hit when Charalambous started to gnaw the difference between them and managed to pass him shortly before the end, finishing first. Christos Tsagaras finished second and Savvas Savva completed the first three.
Before the start of the second hit, it was raining heavily, the track was very wet and there were real mud fights. The heavy rain continued and at some point was accompanied by hail. Chrysanthos Charalambous under these difficult conditions left better than everyone at the start, led the race without being pressured by anyone and saw the plaid and at the same time red flag before the end of the hit, after the organizers stopped it for security reasons. Christos Tsagaras finished second and Lambros Tsagaras completed the trio. Thus, with 1-1 finishes, Chrysanthos Charalambous started the year with the right hand, with last year's champion Christos Tsagaras finishing second with 2-2 finishes. The last place on the podium was occupied by Lambros Tsagaras with 5-3 finishes.

"This year my plan is to follow the entire Cypriot championship, meaning that the games will not coincide with the Balkan one in which I will play again."
In the MX2 category, which runs in parallel with the MX1, all eyes were on the two young riders of Diga Junior Racing Emil Weckman and Emil Jonrup, as well as Michalis Pampoukkas and Chrysanthos Georgiou.
Emil Weckman is the one who stood out with his presence in the match, as he showed his level is much higher than the Cypriot data. He managed with relative ease to finish first in both hits, even passing the riders of the MX1 category.
In the long-awaited battle of the Cypriot championship, in the first hit, last year's champion Michalis Pampoukkas managed to take the lead in the early stages, with Chrysanthos Georgiou following him. The latter managed to pass him a few laps before the end, but Pampoukkas did not put it down and pushed him to the checkered flag, but without being able to pass him. Thus, the victory went to Chrysanthos Georgiou, Michalis Pampoukkas finished second and Michalis' brother, Marios, finished third.
As mentioned above, in this category, the riders had a hard time on the wet track. Chrysanthos Georgiou made a very good start to the second hit and led the match, with Michalis Pampoukkas following him closely. The latter had a fall, as a result of which he was left out of claiming the victory, but his brother Marios had the opposite opinion. He stayed close to the champion Chrysanthos Georgiou and shortly before the hit was stopped he managed to pass it leaving the second. Michalis returned after the fall, finishing third.
The winner of the race was Chrysanthos Georgiou with 1-2 finishes, Marios Pampoukkas finished second with 3-1 finishes and Michalis Pampoukkas finished third with 2-3 finishes.
The winner in the MX2 category Chrysanthos Charalambous said after the end of the race. "I started the season healthy and that is important. I managed to win a difficult match with a lot of competition, as my teammates are very strong. Finally good, all good. "Now I am focused on the next race which will take place on the MXPRO track."
In the reorganized category MX3, George Paulis started with the right his obligations this season, after in the only hit (first) he managed to win it. Christos Dimitriou finished second after a good performance, while Giannos Papaloizou finished in third place. George Nikolaou and Panagiotis Zintilis finished in positions four and five respectively.
The usual suspects are those who starred in the MX3 OVER category. Last year's champion Marinos Tsagaras, Spyros Ilias and George Siderenios are the riders who finished in the first three places. At the beginning of the hit, Spyros Ilias left very well and took the lead in the first round. From there on, Marinos Tsagaras took over the reins of the fight, holding Elias behind him. Kimitris, who came back from the fall, increased his speed and managed in his first participation in the category to finish second behind Victor Zacharias. Lucas Tsokkos finished in third place.
Aristodimos Ellinas confirmed the predictions in the MX85 category after he managed to win the first race. In the only hit that took place in this category, he was superior to the others and had no problem climbing to the highest step of the podium. Antonis Georgiou was also very good, finishing in second place, while Dominic Kolokasis completed the top three.
Finally, in the MXVET category, last year's champion Costas Kimitris was the one who left the Famagusta track victorious. In the initial stages of the hit he was in the battle of the first with Artemis Karatsiolis. He managed after a while to stay ahead and in the end to win. Artemis Karatsiolis finished second and Eftychios Digenis completed the trio. Andreas Michael and Giannakis Ellinas finished in fourth and fifth place.
