The heat does not say to subside. The temperature today reached 43 degrees Celsius, the meteorological department issued an orange warning, however the beaches were full of people, with young and old trying to cool off and have a good Sunday. The capital was left silent and deserted today, with our fellow citizens from Nicosia flooding the highway leading to the coastal areas in the morning, in order to escape the heat.

From today until the end of the month, traffic on the beaches is expected to be particularly high, due to the established permits in August.
