The co-financed project HERMES II, in which the Municipality of Paralimni participates as a partner, has been completed.
A written announcement of the Municipality of Paralimni states that "through the program the Municipality has acquired the equipment but also the valuable experience for hosting local and foreign visitors with disabilities who choose Cyprus to spend their holidays".
Specifically, the Municipality of Paralimni "has 6 autonomous (and energy) access ramps to the sea, outdoor fitness areas in 4 areas of the coastal front of the Municipality, 24 special wheelchairs (wheelchairs) available for use on the beaches and in places of tourist interest. 4 accessible sanitary areas ".
In addition, an official Accessibility Guide has been created especially for the project for people with mobility problems (in digitized and printed form), as well as a website (web platform) which those interested can visit at the link:
