He pointed out, however, that there is an issue with the road that leads to the downhill beach, for which his Department has been in contact with the Municipality of Paralimni for some time to find a solution.

Referring to the recent report of "F" and the statements of Mr. Pyrillis, Mr. Alexandrou avoided commenting, but said that regardless of this, a meeting had been scheduled for a long time next September in order to find a way to extend the existing road. beach, so that there is more accessibility for the public. Either extending it to the right or to the left. (There is also a suggestion to place a train that raises and lowers the public so that cars do not enter the downhill creek of Konnos.)

The director of the Forest Department stressed that in order to prevent any danger of the beach from fire, the Forest Department has created 29 fire nests in the surrounding grove, while the downward direction of the ground does not favor the rapid spread of any fire. where the beach is located.
