The Police in Paralimni are investigating a strange car accident. A car was literally nailed to the offices of OSEA, while a driver and a co-driver abandoned the vehicle.
According to the first information, a Megane car, at around 22:30 tonight, was moving at breakneck speed on Megalou Alexandrou Street in the direction of Giorki Papadopoulou Street.
Under conditions investigated by the Police, the driver of the vehicle lost control, as a result of which he left the traffic lane and crashed violently into a parked bus of the Famagusta District Transport Organization. The crazy course of the car, as shown in the photos provided by Famagusta.News, stopped when it was then nailed to the entrance of the OSEA headquarters.
They abandoned the vehicle
Members of the Famagusta Police Department in Paralimni arrived at the scene, who found that the driver abandoned the vehicle, while the co-driver seems to have done the same, since according to the first investigations, a second person seems to be in the car.
According to the first information, the car seems to have been declared as stolen, while a number of alcoholic beverages were found inside it.
The causes under which the accident occurred as well as the location of the driver and his passengers are being investigated by the Police.
