Inconvenience for thousands of students and parents is expected today as Public Transportation is paralyzed. Movements are affected today following the decision of the Minister of Transport, such as all public transport buses that do not have the necessary automatic fire extinguishing equipment to stop running, until they install the system in question.
Today it is expected to be announced when the automatic fire extinguishing system will be received and when the buses will return to traffic.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF AMMOCHOSTO PROVINCE TRANSPORT ORGANIZATION (OSEA) TO THE PASSENGER PUBLIC
We inform you that due to today's decision of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, any buses that do not have an automatic fire extinguishing system for the engine, from tomorrow Monday 04/12/2023 will not be used for the execution of Public Passenger Transport, including Student Routes.
Although the company disagrees with the decision of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, it must implement it. Unfortunately due to the fact that a number of buses are affected and due to time constraints, inevitably a number of school routes and urban/regional routes will not run tomorrow Monday 4/12/2023.
The company will make more announcements tomorrow about the routes that can be served per day until the installation of the systems. Our company makes every effort to find and install the requested equipment as soon as possible.
