The works for the creation of 2 additional floors have started and in 3 months they will be included in the capacity of the General Hospital of Famagusta, says in a relevant post the Mayor of Paralimni Theodoros Pyrillis.
This will put all the departments of the Hospital into full operation.
Mr. Pyrillis thanked all those in charge, the Minister of Health, the scientific director of the Hospital Amalia Hatzigiannis, OKYPY, however the biggest thank you is to the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis.

Work has begun on the Famagusta General Hospital for the completion and operation of the two new floors. In three months they will join the capacity of the Hospital and will be available for use. Upon completion, all departments of the Hospital will be fully operational again while the covid_19 unit will operate in a separate ward.
Special thanks to the Honorable Minister of Health Mr. Konstantinos Ioannou and to the Executive Director Dr. Amalia Hatzigianni as well as to OKYPY for their continuous and persistent efforts in achieving our goal.
The biggest thanks, however, to our President Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis who actively supports the free province of Famagusta.
