The Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta, the Ecclesiastical Committee of Agios Georgios Exorino Famagusta and the Initiative Group "Famagusta our City" announce that on Sunday, November 5, 2017 (07: 00-10: 30) a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in the occupied Monastery in the Karpasia peninsula, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the first inauguration of the templeon August 15, 1867 by the then Archbishop of Cyprus Sophronios.
The Divine Liturgy will be attended by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Patras Mr. Chrysostomos, the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia and Famagusta Mr. Vassilios and the local pastor Theophilestatos Bishop of Karpasia Mr. Christoforos.
On this occasion, a Church-Pilgrimage is organized with the transfer of those believers who wish.
The cost is 10 euros per person from all Cities.
