With the lighting of the Christmas tree, the Municipality of Sotiras officially dressed up in festive attire. Young and old gathered and watched the lighting of the Christmas tree which took place on Sunday 04/12.
In the Square of the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of Sotiros, bazaars were set up selling loukumades, purees, melomakaronas, kourabiedes and various festive dishes.
The small children were entertained by the inflatables set up in the square, Santa Claus who distributed gifts, while there was also a face painting booth.
The artistic program included Live Link with Politia FM, songs and dance from the Sotiras Municipal Adult Club, the Vision Dance Studio, the Acrobatic Gymnastics Department of the Sotiros Youth Center, the Zumba Kids Department of the Sotiros Youth Center, the Elite School of Dance, the Sotiras Municipal Children's Dance Club, the Conservatory of Classical and Contemporary Studies of Florence Savva, the Sotiras Municipal Choir and the Vassilis Efstathiou and Maria Kofou Music School.
