Thanasis Athanasiou from Sotira, after his huge battle with leukemia, made the decision to follow monasticism.
Thanasis defeated leukemia in June 2021 after difficult months of treatment in Germany.
After his serious illness, Thanasis chose to follow monasticism to be closer to God.
He renamed himself Paisius.
