An announcement through which they clarify the situation prevailing in the insurance of greenhouses was issued today by the Pancyprian Greenhouse Organization. The announcement also clarifies the organization's request for voluntary and non-compulsory insurance due to last Sunday's bad weather and problems for farmers.

Regarding the above issue and after the meeting of our organization on 15/2/2016 we decided unanimously that we are against the compulsory insurance that you presented to us, we will not accept any plan that is on a mandatory basis, so please take into account our position, if as a ministry you want to make any plan is welcome but always on a voluntary basis'.
