A small group of potato producers of Free Famagusta welcomed the President of the Republic at the potato statue at the entrance of Xylofagos with their tractors in the background, holding banners, with the aim of protesting the ongoing problems they face.
President Anastasiades interrupted his route to the opening of the Xilogafos Citizen Service Center and came down and talked with them.
The President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis gave the assurance that the Government stands by the potato producers and the agricultural world, "we are always by your side and we will continue to be, be absolutely sure of that.
