The change of the name was a natural consequence, since the established event had to be modified so as to be thematically oriented and to highlight more the traditional Cypriot element. Thus, the Cultural Committee of the Municipality decided to choose the existing name.
Thus, Tuesday's Festival will focus on the traditional professions of wood carving, "smili" and other professions of Cypriot culture.
The Festival starts at 8 pm and will include an artistic program with traditional dances, tsiattista and a music program by the band of Michalis Hatzimichael, in which Vasiliki Hatziadamamou and Dimitra Hatzimichael will participate.
It will include a rich menu of traditional dishes such as kleftiko, souvlaki, lokmades, kolokasi and much more.
The Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Sophocles Aletraris, will also be present at the Festival, as the whole event is under his auspices.
The artistic and stage supervision is by the Art Professor Mr. Fanis Sergiou.
