A 22-year-old woman, according to the first information, a foreigner, who worked in a family in Cyprus, as a domestic helper, lost her life on Sunday night in a private house in Kapparis.
She was found floating unconscious in the pool of the house by her employers, who were previously on a beach in the area. The unfortunate 22-year-old is reportedly from Nepal.
The woman was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta in Paralimni, where she was pronounced dead.
Investigations are being carried out by the police to determine the causes of her death, while in the first stage the criminal act has been ruled out.
The legal autopsy will be performed today, Monday, at 11:00 in the morning.
