Authorities are investigating the death of a 39-year-old woman from Paralimni.
The unfortunate woman was transported early in the morning to Famagusta Hospital from a private clinic.
According to the first information, the 39-year-old gave birth 10 days ago at Makareio Hospital and under hitherto unexplained conditions she was admitted to a private clinic due to illness.
At around 06:29, the doctors on duty confirmed her death.

The news of the death of the unfortunate 39-year-old who gave birth just 10 days ago caused shock. Information received by SigmaLive from the family of the 39-year-old states that the woman gave birth by caesarean section while she was in the 8th month of pregnancy.
Under the guidance of her gynecologist who works in a private clinic, she went to Makareio Hospital to give birth, after she had first been in pain.
The woman was hospitalized in Makareio Hospital for 3 days after giving birth.
According to the first information, there is a claim before the Police that last night when the woman felt unwell, there was a suggestion that she be transported to Makareio Hospital.
The legal necropsy on the body of the unfortunate woman will be performed tomorrow at 09.00 at the Larnaca General Hospital by the medical examiner Pan.Stavrianos.
