As part of the ongoing campaign of the Police, to combat poaching, members of the MMAD Poaching Scale, located in a fenced field, in a village in the province of Famagusta, a 61-year-old man hunting with the use of prohibited means.
Five wild bird trapping nets and a wild bird mimicry player were taken from the scene as evidence.
The 61-year-old was charged in writing to be summoned later in court.
The Xylofagou Police Station is investigating the case.
