In her statements, the Assistant Electoral Commissioner of the Famagusta constituency, Georgia Papachristodoulou, stated that a total of 89 candidates, of which 18 women, from twelve parties and combinations, submitted their candidacies by 12.30 noon, in view of the 22 parliamentary elections. 2016 seats of Famagusta.

The time for submitting applications was normally completed at 12.30 pm and the list with the names of the candidates was posted at the entrance of the District Administration pending any objections.
The time for submitting objections will end tomorrow at 12.30 at noon.
