Mayor Giannis Karousos puts an end to the bad rumors and the publications of a British newspaper, which presents Ayia Napa as a destination with frantic parties and orgies.
The mayor of Ayia Napa at the same time reassures families and tourists who wish to visit the area, as he talks about individual incidents and a small portion of tourists involved in these parties.
Mr. Karousos stressed that Ayia Napa is a cosmopolitan destination for all tastes and ages that is definitely worth a visit.
The municipality of Ayia Napa is justified by the numbers, since from May to October the area has 100% occupancy in its hotel units.
