The Conference on Cyprus on Security and Guarantees begins today in Geneva. The Conference will be opened by the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, and according to a program announced by the United Nations to the media, it will start at 11:15 local time Swiss time (12:15 Cyprus time).

According to the United Nations, the first part of the conference will end at 13:00 and it will resume at 18:00 local time to end at 20:00. All sessions of the conference will be held in camera.

According to the program, the UN Secretary General will make a statement to the media at 14:45 local time, in the presence of the two leaders, while a working lunch will follow.

The arrivals of the heads of delegations are scheduled to start at 09:15 in the morning at Geneva time, while at 11:00 the General Secretary is scheduled to take photos with the two leaders.

In the meantime, at 09:30 local time, the President of the Republic will have a meeting with the Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Kotzias. The two men had a brief meeting yesterday after the arrival of Mr. Kotzias in Geneva, in the presence of Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulidis.

Turkish Foreign Minister Boris Johnson and British Undersecretary of State Alan Duncan will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Mustafa Akinci at 09:35 a.m. Geneva time, according to Turkish sources.
