On March 11, the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis, will have a meeting with the personal envoy of the UN Secretary-General, Maria Angela Holguin Queillar, who will make her second visit to Cyprus for contacts.

This is what President Christodoulidis himself stated today, noting also that, when he has to convene the Cypriot Group, he will do so.

Asked by journalists, coming to participate in a youth debate as part of the "Young people ask" program of the Bank of Cyprus in Nicosia, about whether the establishment of the Cypriot Group is valid, the President replied, "of course it is" noting that he knows who will participate in this Group "and when this Group should be convened I will". Right now, he added, he is focused on his meeting with Ms. Holguin on March 11, noting that "everything will go as it should."

"We have one and only goal which is nothing more than the resumption of the talks from where they were interrupted in Crans-Montana," said President Christodoulidis.

It is recalled that Mrs. Holgin announced in a written statement, earlier this month, that she will go to London in the first week of March and then return to Cyprus for new meetings with the leaders of the two communities.
