On the occasion of the 10 thousand years of History and Culture
The students of Sotira and Deryneia, in collaboration with their teachers, prepared an excellent artistic unit that included short and poetic texts, as well as songs and dances, which had a direct reference to the history and culture of Cyprus. In this way, the students and the staff of the school proved that not only have they escaped from the trampled and "thousand" events but also that the education of today's teenagers is imbued with the ideals of the Cypriot culture and heritage.
Congratulations to the students for the impeccable execution but also to the teachers for the selection and adaptation of the texts, the music editing, the choreography, and the general editing of the program. Special mention should be given to the sets, costumes and direction which were edited by the Assistant Director of the school and visual artist, Fanis Sergiou.
