The members of the Technical Committee for the opening of new roadblocks reached an agreement today for the opening of the Deryneia roadblock, which is located very close to the occupied city of Famagusta.
The initial decision to open the roadblock was made in late May by the leaders of the two communities in Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiadis and Mustafa Akinci, in the context of discussions on confidence-building measures (MOE).
