For the 15th consecutive year, more than 70 chefs from all over the province of Famagusta will cook for the Apostolos Pavlos Special School in Liopetri.
The "Dinner of Love" will take place on Friday, February 10 at 7 pm in the reception hall of Z.DI.PA. in Avgorou. In it, more than 70 members of the Association of Chefs of the province of Famagusta will make dozens of delicious creations at a charity dinner for the Apostolos Pavlos Special School in Liopetri.
According to the Famagusta District Chefs Association Executive Chef Christos Matsis, the Famagusta chefs for 15 consecutive years, in the absence of any state aid and without any financial benefit, make a buffet consisting of more than 20 unique recipes, the traditional Cypriot cuisine and supporting people with special abilities in the province of Famagusta.
The ticket price is € 15 while for children under 12 it is free. The net proceeds will be used for the needs of the Apostolos Pavlos Special School in Liopetri. The school accommodates people with special abilities, aged 19 and over from Famagusta.
The Dinner is under the auspices of the Cyprus Chefs Association and during it an artistic program will be presented by the school children.
Last year, more than 1300 people attended the dinner, thus supporting both the chefs' voluntary initiative and the school itself.
