According to the announcement, Mr. Giapanis "stated that the issue needs the immediate attention of all of us, due to the fact that there is no satisfactory health control of the products, with the result that we do not know what pesticides are used or if there are prohibited substances in pesticides and fertilizers That are used".

In addition, it is proposed that "the issue of product labeling be regulated, since the products themselves do not indicate the name of the producer but only the region of origin".

Panagrotikos demands that "pesticides and fertilizers be included in the regulation, based on European standards".

This, it is stated, "will result in a vertical reduction in the cost of production of agricultural products, due to the fact that the above two categories sometimes cost five times as much".
