A piece of land of 21 acres, in which there are plans for the construction of a hospital of 60-80 beds, was inspected yesterday in the village of Tavros Famagusta by the so-called "Minister of Health", Faiz Soutziouoglou, accompanied by "community leaders" of the Karpasia region and a team of technicians.

According to the Turkish press, Mr. Soutziouoglou stated that this decision was made at the request of the 26 "community leaders" of Karpasia and the new hospital will have, among other things, an operating room, a radiology department, a physiotherapy department and a maternity ward.

This is "state land", as he said, which was given to the Taurus sports club, the hospital will be built with the financial support of Turkey and will be staffed by about 200 doctors from Turkey.
