The work consists of three monologues of real people related to the war in Iraq.
The characters in the play are Lynndie England, the reserve of the US Army, Dr. David Kelly, a British arms inspector, and Nehrjas Al Saffarh, an Iraqi mother and member of the K.K.I.
"The Palace of the End," a perfect blend of harsh poetry and lyrical narrative that captures the fragility of human beings, excites more with its clear declaration of war: there is no winner.
Whichever side of the war we are on, we lose. Women, children, men, soldiers, politicians; we are all vulnerable. He also talks about our responsibility in the conflict, our ignorance and our fear of the "other", the society of lies.
This extraordinary triptych is political theater at its best: it warns without preaching, it says without prejudice. It's the kind of conversation that's worth having in the theater.
