It seems that the 19-year-old national guard wanted to watch the Greek Cup final between PAOK and AEK, which will be held in Volos, which is why it broke out.
The 19-year-old who had been missing since last Friday, returned late last night to his home in Limassol, traveling by flight from Thessaloniki to Paphos.
His parents notified the Police that he had returned.
As he explained to the police who visited his house, he wanted to go to Thessaloniki and specifically to Volos to watch a football match of his team.
He stated that he used the occupied airport of Tympos because he could not leave the airports of the Republic without the relevant permission of the army from abroad and then through Istanbul he flew to Greece and specifically to Athens and from there he went by road to Volos. Then, after the end of the football match, he went to Thessaloniki, from where he returned to Cyprus last night.
He reportedly told police he could not contact his parents because his mobile phone had broken down.
For the Police, the case is considered over and from the moment it was found that the 19-year-old is in good health, the investigations are not expected to continue. However, the case of the national guard will continue as he will have to report to the National Guard.
