The reorganization of the Seferis Symposia "Ta Seferia" in the Municipality of Ayia Napa was decided unanimously by the Municipal Council in a meeting that took place yesterday Monday 22 May 2017.
According to the decision, the Symposium dedicated to the memory of the great Greek Nobel Prize-winning poet George Seferis will be organized in collaboration with the University of Cyprus, the University of Naples and the person in charge of the literary part of the program will be Dr. George Georgis, Professor of Modern History at the University of Naples, former Ambassador of the Embassy of Cyprus in Athens.
It was also decided that it will be held on an annual basis, the first three days of November (which will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at the Municipal Museum "Sea". For this year, the 4th Symposium in a row will take place from 3-5 November 2017.
