The Pancyprian Coordinating Council for Volunteering announces the launch of the "Adopt a Family Easter" campaign, which aims to leave no family and no child without the necessities to feel the joy of the Resurrection.
The campaign with the slogan "you have love in your heart, help a family in need" according to a relevant announcement, is carried out by the PACE for the 3rd consecutive year. Last year, as reported, 1200 families were "adopted" by individuals, organizations and companies.
The Pancyprian Coordinating Council of Volunteering invites those interested to offer the essentials for the festive table of a family, Easter dishes, candle, Easter egg for the children of a family, clarifying that this campaign does not offer items (clothes or toys, etc. .)
In relation to the "adoption" of a family, those interested, it is added in the announcement, can contact the Coordinating Council of Volunteerism / Volunteer Corps of their Province. The Volunteer Corps will deliver them to families who have turned to it for help after having done the necessary checks and verifying that they are in need.
The last date for delivery of items to the Volunteer Bodies has been set for April 5, 2017
