The teacher who beat a student has no place in the schools, the Minister of Education, Costas Kadis, categorically emphasized.
Speaking on state radio, the Minister confirmed that such an incident is being investigated, stressing that if the police investigation confirms that the teacher handcuffed the ten-year-old student, then his contract will be terminated.
He explained that the teacher is employed by purchasing services in an all-day school. The teacher who allegedly handcuffed a student at a primary school in Sotira has been arrested by the police.
